1 answer

1. Thiruvalluvar University (Serkadu, Vellore) previous year question papers are mostly found through your affiliated college's library or department, and through third-party question-paper websites. The university's official site, tvu.edu.in, is the place for the syllabus, exam timetable and results.

Where to find previous question papers

   1. Your college library or department — most affiliated colleges keep bound sets of past university papers. This is the most reliable source.
   2. Seniors and class groups — papers from the last 2–3 years are commonly shared by seniors.
   3. Question-paper websites — sites such as askfilo.com, gkpad.com and tnstudy.com host Thiruvalluvar University papers for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BCA and other courses, searchable by subject code (for example BCA33).
   4. tvu.edu.in — check the syllabus for your regulation year so you study the right pattern.

   Tips for using old papers

   • Match the regulation year. Patterns change; papers from an older syllabus can have different units and mark splits.
   • Check the subject code on the paper against your hall ticket.
   • Note the pattern: recent UG papers are commonly 3 hours with Part A (short answers), Part B and Part C (long answers).
   • Practise the last 3–5 years of papers under timed conditions.

Third-party sites are not run by the university; their papers may be incomplete or mislabelled. Checked November 2026. AskVellore is not affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University.
