Where can patients and families stay near CMC Hospital in Vellore?

Most budget stays for CMC patients are on Ida Scudder Road (Arcot Road), right opposite the CMC main gate in Thottapalayam. CMC itself also provides some housing for patient relatives on its Town Campus.
Where to look
- Ida Scudder Road / Arcot Road (opposite the main gate): dozens of lodges and residencies within a few minutes' walk.
- Thottapalayam and Beripettai side streets: quieter guest houses, some with shared kitchens.
- Near Green Circle / New Bus Stand: mid-range hotels, a short auto ride away.
